The Beginning of Fall

This is how Jenny solves canning peaches with a baby! Conventional, no but is Jenny ever?
The first causlity of the season, Mike's wooden cooking spoon. What's he doing with his own cooking spoon, I don't know.

Sandra and one of our best peach skin pealers!
The canning crew with one of our newest members who made things go so much quicker.

The tart that keeps Nikki going........

Yes, we canned all 60 jars of peaches, froze 40 bags of peaches from just 10 boxes of peaches!

Who says Yoga and Peaches don't mix?

So here comes fall... The time of year that I love, when the leaves change color, Einstein's brings out their pumpkin bagels with the pumpkin cream cheese, and I go a little crazy in the head with my friends and family canning peaches. I figured that last year I laid down some big bucks (You want a ballpark figure probably around $100) and I believe that I had a total of 2 jars and gave away the other 48 jars. This year in addition to the old regular peach caners we recruited my sister Jenny and her daughters, we are think of starting a union if anyone is interested. Charitable, some might say but I think that I just love the peach tart that we make at the end of our canning fest.
